Day 02: Hanoi Halong Bay
Pick you up at your hotel and depart for Ha long Bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Ha Long Bay is truly one of Vietnam's most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Ha Long Bay. This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Overnight on the Junk Cruise. (B/L/D)

Day 04: Hanoi Danang
Visit the historic complex of Ba Dinh, take a stroll on Ba Dinh Square, where the late President Ho Chi Minh read Viet Nam's Proclamation of Independence on 2 September 1945. Visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and continue to One-Pillar Pagoda, a must-see monument in Ha Noi. One-Pillar Pagoda is an ancient Buddhist pagoda supported by only one pillar. Built in the early 11th century during the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, the pagoda resembles a lotus blossom. We will also visit Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (temple of literature), the first Imperial school in Viet Nam built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly. Then transfer to the airport for flight to Danang for the next two nights. (B)

Day 05: Da Nang My Son
Journey to My Son, Viet Nam's most important site of the ancient kingdom of Champa and also a Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO in 1999. Originally built with wood, they were completely destroyed by fire in the 6th century and restored in the 7th century by Sambhuvarman who rebuilt the temples with locally made bricks. Up to the 13th century, more than 70 similar temples were built, establishing My Son as a sanctuary of Hinduism in the Champa Kingdom. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Da Nang. (B)
Day 06: Danang Hoian
Enjoy a free tailor-made item at Ann Tailor this morning. Then travel to Hoian, explore the peaceful small towns with ancient houses. The tour in Hoian includes visits to Hoi An Museum, many of the town's renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence, a handicraft workshop and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge. Overnight in Hoi An. (B)

Day 07: Hoian
Discover Hoi An's countryside and its local foods by bicycle. Take a ride through the countryside to a local village with a stop to enjoy a bowl of Cao Lau, a local noodle. Spend some free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An. (B/L)
Day 08: Hoian Danang Ho Chi Minh City
Fly to Ho Chi Mih City, known as Saigon. Upon arrival met & transfer to your hotel. (B)

Day 09: Mekong Delta
The day will begin with a two-hour ride from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta. Take a boat cruise to visit Cai Be Floating Market, and watch locals aboard their small boats trading fresh goods and local commodities. Leave Cai Be for Binh Hoa Phuoc Islet, where the maze of shady creeks will surely fascinate you. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. (B/L)
Day 10: Cu Chi Tunnels
Journey to Cu Chi Tunnels, explore the network of tunnels stretching over 250 km, one of the most famous and historical aspects of the Viet Nam War. Return to Saigon, and continue to explore the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (B/L)
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh Yangon
Today fly Yangon. Visit City Hall, High Court, General Post Office, Customs House and colonial landmark Strand Hotel. Continue on to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, the country’s holiest Buddhist shrine that is perhaps the most beautiful pagoda complex in all of Asia. Enjoy the stunning sunset before back to hotel. Overnight in Yangon. (B/L/-)

Day 13: Mandalay
This morning head to the 18th century capital of Amarapura and visit Mahagandayon monastery, where more than a thousand monks and novices live and study the doctrine of Buddha. Experience U Bein bridge, which is the longest teakwood span in the world built with teakwood pillars salvaged from the deserted Inwa Palace. Take the local ferry to visit Inwa, the historically important former royal capital, see the remains of this ancient city, visit Maha Aungmye Bonzan and Nanmyin Watch Tower. End the day with a visit to Mandalay Hill with magnificent views. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Mandalay. (B/L/-)
